You read the reviews and make an assumption, but you need to make your own mind up this park is smaller then some and has its limitations but its in a beautiful setting set out wonderfully very rustic in nature... noise we heard none ... birds singing, people chatting and made us feel welcome on first impression s a great community.... the staff were more then helpful answering all our queries and putting us at ease .. ignore all you read make your own mind up ... I give you a 5 thank you

I cannot believe some of the comments posted. We have lived on this site for over 10 years and love it. It's so peacefully and friendly. We have never heard 'bikes revving', yes there are dogs on site, ours being one, BUT they are all kept on leads when walking round the site. The managers Linda and Alan are always approachable, friendly, helpful and go the extra mile for all owners, so much so that in the winter I've seen Alan putting grit on the road outside the site to enable residents to get out and about, due to the council not gritting country roads. Blowers and all other garden machinery done over the weekends are by resident's and never management. This work by them is carried out during the week days. We would recommend this site to anyone for residential or as holiday home.

We looked at many parks around the area but most had caravans in straight rows, many with no or very little greenery. Acre farm is a forest site where caravans are placed randomly around the site and the presence of trees and greenery make it a perfect peaceful place in the countryside. The site managers and staff are very friendly, always ready to help and advise. It is worth visiting to take a look and speak to the staff you will be welcomed as we were.

What a shame, i was considering buying a caravan here so came online to look for reviews..took them all on board went to look at the place and found it lived up to the one star reviews. I did note however that anyone disagreeing with what SOME PEOPLE ON THE SITE THOUGHT;It obviously suits some more than others. One woman told a reviewer that 'we wouldn't like you here' how awful. The man made no mention of disliking the managers so why did that woman accuse him of it? I personally think the management should look at all of the comments constructively. People get stuck in their own bubble sometimes. You would think it perfect if its a lot of your friends on site. It was messy in parts especially around the rubbish skips, i personally 'want to live by them ..indeed caravans are in close proximity. a lot of caravans ARE squeezed in together, at the top of the park, whereas a couple in particular the lodge and the caravan opposite have huge plots. Also one at the top with a Huge drive. word of advice, people clearly 'like certain things about this park, so don't get your friends to write reviews to stick up for you. Its clear as day you don't like the comments and have asked them to do that. Very unproffesional. There may be some friendly people on site but i experienced some miserable ones, who looked at me like i was a alien. AND completely ignored my cheerful good afternoons. I DO know via a friend that a lot of the managers friends live on site which begs the question..does anyone else have any say? or are the friends the only ones who are right? Live there? no way.

The most idyllic place to live. Wished we had none about this place years ago. The residents are so friendly you couldn't want a better management team. Nothing is too much trouble. They will go that extra mile to make sure every one is happy. Thank you Alan and Linda for making our life complete.
