Proper pub. A pity they no longer do meals as the home made pies were ace.
Quirky little pub with a lovely homely feel. The Desperate Dan pies are great! Dogs are allowed into the pub too which is a nice touch. I visited on a Saturday lunchtime and it was quite busy. Menus on the tables would be good. Recommended.Addition to my original review; very disappointed to read that the Little Pack Horse no longer serves food. Hopefully this is a temporary arrangement and 'normal service' will resume shortly. The food here used to be smashing!
Good atmosphere, great beers and dog friendly.
We love the little packhorse it has a nice range of cider. We will return again soon.
I almost never wrote this review due to the fact that i don't want anyone to know about this place because i love it so much. An incredible little (proper) pub. Hidden gem. Awesome beers and great food. My all time favourite pub!
