Expensive, but great fish and chips
Great chippy with fantastic seating right by river seven.
Used to be a tea room serving sandwiches, baked potatoes, teacakes etc. Now is a fish and chip sit down restaurant (served by its namesake - the takeaway) so just serves what takeaway sells - has a children's menu. Find a table and friendly staff will come and take your order, usually very quick service. Doesn't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. Ring to see when the gluten free days are. Toilets are shared with the Thai restaurant upstairs.
