Shambles cafe is in the courtyard of Bewdley museum so we use it occasionally when visiting the area. The drinks are reasonably priced & the homemade cake tastes delicious, we could tell they've used quality ingredients to make them. You can see & feel the history while sitting in shambles, decor is pleasant & the staff are friendly & helpful. Highly recommended by all our family!
The cafe was a bit disappointing in their offering for vegetarians, but I suppose that we are the minority and can't expect too much choice. I had a jacket potato that was crunchy rather than soft inside, with a 5 bean chilli topping that seemed to be lacking in another 3 varieties of bean. My Mum had the quiche which looked nice but was dry and bland. We both envied the simple sandwich that my Dad had ordered... and enjoyed, at half the price of my Mum's quiche meal! All in all, I would go again as the museum is a lovely place to visit. However I would order something cheap and therefore less disappointing if it didn't taste very nice...
